It includes 140 tutorials & challenges presented in an organized, logical sequence. First, kids learn about each piece and how it moves. Then they complete tasks with that piece. From there they move into learning the rules of the game. Again, learning is followed by tasks that test their understanding. I really like this aspect of the app – kids practicing what they learn as they move through the tutorials. After they have completed the tutorials, they can challenge others to a game or they can play against the computer. As they play, the app tracks their progress. It’s no wonder that this app was a Winner of a Parents’ Choice Gold Award and featured in the “New & Noteworthy” section of the iTunes App Store!
